PRIVACY, WITHOUT THE FOG

Local first means the default is useful before you sign in.

WhyNavo is designed so an account is an option for synchronization, not a gate around the basic product.

What stays on this device

Widget layout, notes, tasks and countdowns
Theme, wallpaper and appearance settings
Private photos, custom images, dynamic wallpaper videos and uploaded icon images
Local icon, weather and location caches

What can sync after sign-in

Shortcuts, groups and folders

The honest limits

Cloud synchronization is not end-to-end encrypted.
Browser storage depends on the browser profile, device lock and disk encryption.
Dynamic wallpaper video bytes are device-only and are not embedded in JSON data backups.
External icon, weather, email and anti-abuse providers process only the requests needed for those features.
Do not put passwords, recovery codes or other highly sensitive secrets in notes or shortcut titles.
